Private Space Company brings together vehicle construction and space exploration in a scientific rivalry between cats and dogs. Both programmes have an ambitious destination: another star. Reaching it means developing the vehicles, knowledge and infrastructure needed to take a crew beyond its home system.

The programme begins at home, where new vehicles are built. Aircraft have a useful role at different stages alongside rockets and spacecraft. Construction is tied to the purpose of a mission: what you intend to explore, what equipment you need to bring and how you will support the crew along the way.

Science gives those missions direction. Progress requires both accumulated scientific knowledge and specific research. To move forward, the programme needs to carry out the investigations that open its next possibilities. Construction and exploration become parts of the same process.

Bases on other worlds extend the reach of your programme. They store, repair, refuel and launch vehicles brought from home. New vehicles are still built at the home base, so supplying an expedition and maintaining the equipment already there remain important parts of expansion.

Your rival’s progress is visible through its vehicles, launches and achievements. The competition is peaceful and centres on discoveries and exploration. Crew safety matters too: supplies and radiation are part of the planned challenges, with advance warnings and the possibility of rescue missions.

The interstellar journey is the long-term goal: deliver a crew to another star first and establish contact. Private Space Company is in development. These are the foundations of its current design; the scope of the first release is still being defined. Follow OnlyLogic for news as the game takes shape.
